Attention Business Owners: Be aware of a scam circulating related to the System for Award Management (SAM).
If you wish to do business with the federal government you must be registered with SAM in order to bid on federal contracts. Registration is free.
However, an official looking scam is telling registered SAM users they need to pay $599 to renew their registration. This is false.
